Your firm's expertise, codified into actionable rules
Rulebooks
Rulebooks are collections of directives that encode your firm's standards, risk tolerances, and compliance policies.
Defining the Standard
Rather than relying on tribal knowledge to review contracts, managing partners can codify standards directly into the platform. A rule consists of:
- Rule Text: (e.g., "Termination for convenience requires at least 90 days notice.")
- Severity: (Critical, High, Medium, Low)
These Rulebooks are then actively utilized by the Review Agent to automatically flag deviations during Review Blocks within Routines or during standalone document reviews, ensuring junior associates adhere strictly to Partner-level risk tolerances.
Start small. Build a "Core Standards" Rulebook with 5 to 10 of your firm's most critical deal-breaker terms, and expand it organically over time.
